That’s right! I got it done finally! Jada’s room is officially finished and MUCH improved.
Of course, wherever orange sponge-painted walls are involved, there’s nowhere to go but up really.
Remember this? Here is the before.
And here is a side by side of the before/after!
The wall color is Possibly Pink from Sherwin Williams. White with just a hint of soft pink and I love how it turned out. The shelves I painted white and I love that the bottom one is in Jada’s reach so she can put her toys and stuff there when she gets a little older.
The newest addition was the stenciled canvas with some truths I wrote out that I believe about her and want her to know too. The stencil used is from Royal Design Studio and we are going to be doing a giveaway coming up in February for you to win a $50 stencil! Thank you Royal Design Studio!
I LOVED this particular stencil and I will show you the tutorial on that when we do the giveaway in a few weeks….
The painted verse, broken mirror frame, LOVE printed canvas and framed pearls are from her old room, but I still loved them so I decided they would stay.
Jada is doing the gangnam style dance in the corner to show her appreciation.
And JimJim is headed right to the stuff on the shelf at eye level to rip it all down.
A little closer look at the Royal Design Studio stenciled canvas. I love how it turned out! You all know stenciling is right up this art challenged girl’s alley!
And of course, trusty old bird cage gone white. I love how this finishes the look in the room.
Some new carpet and we will be home free up in here!
Another room down, three to go! Upstairs that is. I need a nap (or eight) first.
